Designed as a private world within an existing modern home, The Verde Retreat is a whole-life addition built around the couple’s work, their wellness, and the quiet moments in between. What began as a desire for a dedicated office grew into something far more considered: a seamlessly connected suite of spaces that balances focused productivity with serious restoration.

The office anchors the addition with warmth and intention — soft, warm millwork, undulating wood wall panels, and a dramatic green-veined stone slab desktop that serves as the room's defining feature. The space doubles as a lounge for visiting grandchildren, with a built-in beverage station and a generously laid-out seating area that makes it as inviting as it is functional.

The fitness studio connects directly, designed with the refined calm of a boutique wellness facility. Warm wood wall cladding, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, desert views through expansive windows, and an infrared sauna and cold-plunge tucked within. A spa-like bathroom bridges the two spaces in material and mood, with a sculptural floating oak vanity, a dramatic stone slab surround, and a generous walk-in shower wrapped in warm ribbed tile and statement stone. An expanded primary wardrobe for her completes the suite, entirely reimagined with custom, tailored cabinetry.
